About Us

Our goal is to connect scientists throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding areas of Northern California.

BADG Bay Area Discussion Group, is the local chapter of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). Our goal is to connect scientists throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding areas of Northern California. Created in September 2005, BADG has over 200 members and is quickly growing. 

Our mission is to connect anyone who is interested in the advancement of pharmaceutical science, so they can learn from scientists who are willing to share operational, scientific and educational expertise.

We carry out our mission by holding regular seminars, workshops and dinner events which feature expert speakers presenting cutting edge research in drug discovery and development along with networking opportunities.  

Membership is free and participation in the BADG seminars and discussions are open to all who are interested.  We encourage BADG members to join our national organization: AAPS.
